Medicinal plants and “La Brostada!” extra virgin olive oil. Els Torms
With La Brostada, we propose introducing you to some of the plants that we have in our immediate environment which we often refer to as “weeds”. These grow next to or in our fields and often have great medicinal and/or culinary value.
You will learn about the uses that we can give to them and how we can enhance their properties and taste with extra virgin olive oil.
The activity will last for approximately one and a half hours.
The meeting place will be the Molí dels Torms (olive oil mill). Location: at kilometre 16.5, on the L-701, Els Torms (Les Garrigues). You will find how to arrive here, using Google Maps.
At the mill, there is an area where you can park your car and, if necessary, it is possible to travel from there to the fields by car, where you can also park.
Important when travelling! This part of Les Garrigues has only Movistar mobile telephone coverage. It is therefore important to check your route beforehand or to ask for information in advance if you are travelling with other people.
- Those attending will also be able to take home an information file about the main plants which includes suggestions for their use and some recipes.
Minimum number of visitors: 6 people.
Maximum number of visitors: 10 people.
The forms of payment will be: cash, to be paid at the Mill itself, before starting the workshop; or, bank transfer, when you make your booking.
