It is only 200 km from Barcelona and starts and finishes at La Pobla de Segur. This medium-high mountain route is suitable for walkers of all levels. It runs through Els Pallars and l’Alta Ribagorça, at the foot of the Parc Nacional d’Aigüestortes i Estany de Sant Maurici. The sign-posted itinerary is divided into 5 stages: Stage 1: La Geganta Adormida (The Sleeping Giantess) Stage 2: L’Aquelarre de Serraspina (The Sabbat of Serraspina) Stage 3: El Pont del Diable (The Devil’s Bridge) Stage 4: La Casa Encantada (The Haunted House) Stage 5: L’Estany de Montcortès (The Montcortès Pool) For over 100 km, trekkers must overcome the changing relief as they enjoy one of the least known and most surprising parts of the Pyrenees: the Pla de Corts plain, the Vall Fosca (Dark Valley) and the Vall de Manyanet, and discover the Montcortès Pool: The Fifth Lake.   For more information: El Cinquè Llac
