The eleven ski resorts in Lleida form the largest skiable surface area in Spain and are considered a benchmark in southern Europe, with more than 4,000 hectares and more than 450 kilometres of slopes, suitable for all levels and preferences. Located in an idyllic setting of wild nature, surrounded by fabulous forests and majestic peaks, Lleida’s resorts offer endless possibilities for enjoying the snow: in addition to alpine and Nordic skiing, disciplines par excellence, these winter resorts are ideal areas for snowshoeing, hiking and dog sledding, snowmobiling, quad biking, heli-skiing and panoramic helicopter rides, to name just a few. The quality of the facilities and services and an attractive and varied range of après-ski activities round off this enticing offer and provide skiers with a unique experience. Of the 11 ski resorts in the Lleida Pyrenees, 6 are alpine ski resorts (Baqueira Beret, Boí Taüll, Espot Esquí, Port Ainé, Port del Comte and Tavascan) and 5 are Nordic ski resorts (Aransa, Lles de Cerdanya, Sant Joan de l’Erm, Tuixent-la Vansa and Virós-Vallferrera).
