Over these years, the County Council&#8217;s aim has been to promote and showcase the cuisine of our land and the restaurants that prepare it. The Gastronomic Showcase is the result of the participatory work and efforts of the restaurateurs in Les Garrigues, who delight us with dishes cooked with passion and professionalism, so that everyone who tastes them can experience the flavours of Les Garrigues. As every year, the Les Garrigues Gastronomic Showcase is held from early November to mid-December. It is held to coincide with the arrival of the new oil, as in Les Garrigues the harvest begins in October\u2013November. At the end of the Gastronomic Showcase, a hamper of local produce (olive oil, wine, dried fruit, honey, etc.) is raffled among all the diners at each restaurant who have filled in the ballot.
