Olive Oil Mill of L’Argilés, Arbeca

Guided route through the historic-artistic ensemble of Arbeca in a trip through different periods in the history of this municipality. This includes an explanation of the introduction of the arbequina olive tree, by the Medinaceli family in the 18th century, which opened the door for unprecedented economic development in Arbeca, Les Garrigues, L'Urgell and El Segrià. The experience also includes a visit to the castle-palace, the walls, the walled town, the church of Sant Jaume and the olive oil mill of L'Argilés, which conserves large mill stones that date back to the beginning of the 19th century.
