Calandra lark

The entire population in Catalonia is located on the Lleida plain and in the surrounding area. It is relevant to underline the current density in L'Urgell and La Segarra, while its numbers have fallen in El Segrià and El Pla d'Urgell, even though its total population has increased. It can be found across the whole range of Mediterranean steppe habitats, but it requires large continuous surfaces.
