For decades, the Lleida Pyrenees have been one of the most popular destinations for lovers of all kinds of winter sports. The eleven ski resorts in Lleida form the largest skiable surface area in Spain and are considered a benchmark in southern Europe, with more than 4,000 hectares and more than 450 kilometres of slopes, suitable for all levels and preferences.

Located in an idyllic setting of wild nature, surrounded by fabulous forests and majestic peaks, Lleida’s resorts offer endless possibilities for enjoying the snow: in addition to alpine and Nordic skiing, disciplines par excellence, these winter resorts are ideal areas for snowshoeing, hiking and dog sledding, snowmobiling, quad biking, heli-skiing and panoramic helicopter rides, to name just a few.

Of the 11 ski resorts in the Lleida Pyrenees, 6 are alpine ski resorts (Baqueira Beret, Boí Taüll, Espot Esquí, Port Ainé, Port del Comte and Tavascan) and 5 are Nordic ski resorts (Aransa, Lles de Cerdanya, Sant Joan de l’Erm, Tuixent-la Vansa and Virós-Vallferrera). Baqueira Beret and Tavascan offer both disciplines.
