32nd Les Garrigues Gastronomic Showcase
Gastronomic Showcase dates 2026: from 7 November to 20 December
The Gastronomic Showcase is celebrating its thirty-second year. Over these years, the County Council's aim has been to promote and showcase the cuisine of our land and the restaurants that prepare it.
The Gastronomic Showcase is the result of the participatory work and efforts of the restaurateurs in Les Garrigues, who delight us with dishes cooked with passion and professionalism, so that everyone who tastes them can experience the flavours of Les Garrigues.
As every year, the Les Garrigues Gastronomic Showcase is held from early November to mid-December. It is held to coincide with the arrival of the new oil, as in Les Garrigues the harvest begins in October–November.
At the end of the Gastronomic Showcase, a hamper of local produce (olive oil, wine, dried fruit, honey, etc.) is raffled among all the diners at each restaurant who have filled in the ballot.

We encourage Showcase diners to discover Les Garrigues by visiting:
- Olive oil tourism experiences with various local producers and artisans: the mills in the region offer experiences and tastings of the new oil produced during November and December. These activities coincide with the Gastronomic Showcase, which is held at this time precisely to highlight the new oil and its regional production.
- The paintings of the Roca dels Moros rock-art site in Cogul, a World Heritage Site. It features the immersive experience "Els ulls de la història" (The Eyes of History).
- The Els Vilars Iberian fortress in Arbeca, with its moat, towers and streets.
- The castles of Les Garrigues, such as those of L'Albi, La Floresta, L'Espluga Calba and Arbeca.
- Dry-stone constructions. The route to visit the vaulted huts, the route to visit the lime kilns...
