Personally experience the olive harvest, La Pobla de Cérvoles

Would you like to take part in the olive harvesting and oil production process? The experience consists of a presentation and guided tour of the mill before it is put into operation. Afterwards, the olives will be harvested, and we will show you the different ways of harvesting olives. From the old-fashioned way of harvesting with nets and hoes to tractor-vibrator harvesting. We'll pick up a few kilos and you'll see first-hand what it's like to work in the fields. Before everything is harvested, we will carry out a tasting of 8 seasoned and unseasoned extra virgin olive oils.

Then we'll go back to the mill where we will take the olives we've harvested and help separate the leaves and branches from the fruit manually and mechanically. We then start up the mill and crush the selected olives to make extra virgin olive oil. You will see the whole process. Finally, we will offer you a meal among the olive trees consisting of escalivada (roasted vegetables), bread with tomato, sausages, croquettes, potato omelette, Swiss roll for dessert, coffees and drinks (water, soft drink, beer and/or wine). If you would like to walk off your lunch, you can take a free, signposted stroll around the estate where you can discover its hidden treasures. Before leaving we'll give you a small sample of the oil from the process stream you saw and you will have an option to buy oil and other products in our agro-shop.
