In Catalonia, this species is only found in the Ebro Delta and on the Lleida plain. I In the Lands of Lleida, populations are located in the thickets of the Aiguabarreig (confluence) of the rivers Segre, Cinca and Ebro, at Utxesa, and on the drylands of Mas de Melons-Alfés.
